Houndstooth Amid The Ole Scots Pine...

This iconic black and white tessellation is woven deep into the ancestry of Scotland.

Originating in the Lowlands, throughout the ages it has crossed land and sea
to cement itself in the hearts of many a Designer too.

So fiercely proud of his Scottish heritage was he, McQueen paid homage to the Dogs Tooth over and again.

Aways striking, always recognisable, the razor sharp points will always be cutting edge.

Steeped in history and simply timeless, for me Houndstooth aptly depicts the pure strength of Scotland
and so I say to you, Happy St. Andrews Day...

'Towering in gallant fame
Scotland my mountain hame
High may your proud standards
Gloriously wave!
Land o' the high endeavour
Land o' the shining river
land o' my heart forever
Scotland the brave...'
