'Love Is In The Hair...'

My beautiful friend met her Prince and they were married this year in the most exquisite ceremony, of which I was a guest.

This outfit is dedicated to them and their Fairytale and if you look closely, you'll see it tells a story, a Tale As Old As Time...

When Isabella Blow wore her name atop her head, in the form of a bespoke fascinator designed by Philip Treacy,
she was launching her own range of Red Lipstick For Mac...

So Iconic were her Lips.

In searching for the perfect Rose Red Lipstick, I stumbled upon a rather special experience I wanted to share...
Over time I seem to have accumulated rather a few shades of red, which don't quite hit the thorn on the head...
Until you put it on, how do you know?
Tentatively walking past the Christian Dior counter, eyeing their delicious shades of deepest crimsons,
I was asked whether I needed help...it turns out, I did.

My skin tone was tested, the stepping stone I had been missing.

Running her fingers over her pallet, The Artist stopped at Rouge 743 and said,
'This Is Going To Be Yours...'
I hadn't considered investing in makeup in this way before, but she was right, it was mine.
It was as though she had mixed a new colour for my complexion.  No longer was I trying to match the red in my outfit,
this complimented me.

The idea of having my own shade of Red for life feels so Romantic...
leaving lipstick footprints on tea cups and champagne glasses alike through the course of time...
